Aimee, CelloAimee began her cello studies at the age of 14, and at age 16 was already performing regularly with professional symphony orchestras in her native west Texas. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Music Studies at the Butler School at UT Austin, where she studied under renowned pedagogue Phyllis Young. During her time at UT, Aimee played in a wide variety of performance groups, including the Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band, Butler Center Opera Orchestra, Cello Choir, and the Austin String Ensemble.

After two great years of teaching orchestra in Katy ISD, Aimee now teaches private lessons and gives orchestra clinics all over the Houston area. She is an active worship musician, regularly performing both live and on studio recordings with local Christian recording artists and worship leaders. She has composed and arranged numerous pieces for a variety of instruments. Locally, Aimee served as the Principal Cellist for the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra for four years. With all the music in her life, Aimee most enjoys making music with her two young sons, who both love to sing and dance.
