Social MediaRaised in Saskatoon, Canada, Amy moved to the Houston area in 1999. She joined the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra in May 2003 and served as President of the Board of Directors from 2004-2013. She was a founding member of Les Quatre Bois String Quartet and has been involved in numerous ensembles, including the Corelli Players and Collegium Musicum at the University of Saskatchewan, where she studied cello, flute and piano. She has performed extensively, both as a soloist on flute, and in ensembles on flute, piano, and cello. She has also taught private flute and piano lessons.

She has performed live with Ray Price, BJ Thomas, Christopher Cross and Kansas and has been featured on studio recordings with multiple Texas artists.

In 2006, she was awarded the “Volunteer of the Year” Award by the Greater Houston Area Special Olympics, one of her proudest achievements!
