Your Wedding Day:

It’s a gorgeous day for a wedding! The sun is streaming through the windows, and it’s finally here. Today’s the day you are getting married to the man of your dreams! You’ve spent so much time planning and working on the details. You know that this day is going to be perfect, because it’s all about starting your future together.

As the guests arrive and are seated, you can’t wait for the moment when the music starts! Your bouquet is a gorgeous, fresh arrangement of yellow roses, white ranunculus, a few cotton bolls and a touch of eucalyptus. You’ve got your favorite pair of boots on, along with your Grandmother’s antique brooch, a blue ribbon and some burlap and lace wrapped around your bouquet. As the flower girls walk down the aisle, they drop rose petals out of cowboy hats. You’re proud of your Texas heritage and it shows!

As you hear the string quartet play the first notes of Taylor Swift’s Love Story, you can hardly contain your excitement! It’s time to walk down the aisle to your handsome cowboy, ready to start your new life together. As the two of you recite your vows, exchange rings, then kiss, your family and friends who’ve come from near and far erupt into cheers. It’s time for the reception, time for celebrating!

The tables are set with mason jars, complete with burlap ribbons and delicate floral arrangements. Guests are led to their seats by wood place card holders. There is plenty of lemonade and iced tea for everyone. Kids are running around playing cornhole, horseshoes and enjoying the hayride you’ve arranged for them. Everyone is having a great time! While you and your new husband take some time to visit with the guests, the string quartet plays a variety of music, including some of your favorite country tunes (who would’ve thought they’d sound so great by a classical string quartet??).

Finally, it’s time to sit down and eat dinner. You’re seated at a sweetheart table, complete with ruffled burlap and Mr. and Mrs. signs on the back of your chairs. How much more perfect could this day be?

As the lights twinkle, you dust off your boots and you and your new husband dance your first dance in the sawdust to the strains of King George’s amazing love song, I Cross My Heart. The lights twinkle and your heart sings. This is the day you had imagined… now forever can start!
